DrumWave Invited to Join the World Data Organization

While Western headlines were focused elsewhere, a massive shift occurred in the global digital landscape last week. In Beijing, over 40 countries and 200 organizations gathered to launch the World Data Organization (WDO)—the first international body dedicated specifically to data governance. As detailed in a recent Exame column, this isn’t just another bureaucratic institution; it is a strategic move to fill a global power vacuum. By focusing on "trust anchors" for cross-border data flows, the WDO is positioning itself as the alternative to Western-led digital standards.

DrumWave was the only American company invited to join as a member and participate in the inaugural ceremony. On this new global chessboard, the WDO sets the rules governing how data moves, while DrumWave’s technology provides the infrastructure for individuals, businesses, and nations to value and manage those assets. It is a signal that the "Data Era" has officially entered its multilateral phase, where economic survival depends on who controls the digital "gold."

Read the full analysis at Exame to understand why the WDO and its partners are redefining the most important market of the 21st century.
